Attributes
The Attributes section includes the object name.
Name
Enter a name for the column.
We strongly recommend that each column is given a suitable and unique name. The object name will, very likely, be referred to when adding behavior.
Behaviors
The Behavior section lists possible events on the object that can prompt a behavior to run.
Drop-Down Changes Field Data
This event occurs when an app user changes data in the drop-down object.
Drop-Down Gains Focus
This event occurs when the drop-down object becomes the active field.
Drop-Down Loses Focus
This event occurs when the drop-down object is exited.
Drop-Down is Clicked
This event occurs when an app user clicks on the drop-down object.
This event is different than Drop-Down Gains Focus in that the app user must mouse-click on the object in order for the event to occur and any linked behavior commands to run.
This event will not work on many mobile devices which have different methods of managing drop-downs.
Avoid using this event if mobile devices are likely to be used.
