Conditional, or supplementary, questions are relatively common and easy to manage in a non-workflow application. The questions are normally hidden to start with and made visible when required.
In a Workflow environment there is an added complexity as the supplementary questions would need to be hidden when they are not to be answered regardless of the stage in the process, visible and editable (Normal State) when they are to be answered, but visible and non-editable (Read-Only State) when the application is subsequently reopened at later stages in the process.
It would not be possible to manage this using the normal recommended method of managing field states. Instead, it will be necessary to use behaviors to manage this logic.
This example demonstrates one common way that can be managed. The key parts of the logic are attached to the first question regarding organization type.
