The Radio Button object is an app layout object found in the input toolbox. |
Details
The Radio Button object can be used on an app to capture data selected manually by an app user or dynamically using behavior. Once captured, that data can then be displayed to, and/or modified by, other users who view the app instance.
A Radio Button object can either be selected or deselected, but only one Radio Button can be selected from within a group. (For multiple choice selections see Checkbox)
If a Radio Button is placed on an app but not inside a group, then the page effectively acts as the group for that Radio Button and any others that are not placed inside a group.
(See also the Radio Button Group)
A selection may also be set, or modified, in a Radio Button object dynamically using the Set Field and Copy Fields behavior commands along with the more advanced behaviors Connect, Connect and Search, Get Field From Other Instance and Set Field In Other Instance.
Setting the 'value' of a Radio Button Group to zero will deselect whichever radio button is selected in that group, providing that none of the radio buttons has the value of zero. |
The object is compatible with JAWS version 2018.
