The layout objects found in the Report Designer are very similar to those available in the App Designer. Details can be found here App Layout Objects
There is one group of objects specific to reports.
The Layout view allows you to add, change or remove visual components of the report. In Layout view, the Toolbox includes all report objects that you can select to build your report. Examples of report objects include: charts, tables, gauges and filters. Simply drag and drop a report object onto the canvas to build your report.
Each report object has a corresponding view within the Properties panel. The Properties panel dynamically displays the available properties for the selected object.
Additionally, properties for Report Behavior Commands are available from the Properties panels accessed within that view.
