The Attributes section includes the object name.

Name

Enter a name for the object. This is the name of the object as it will show in field chooser, the Navigation panel and other object lists.

The Behavior section lists possible events on the object that can prompt a behavior to run.

Filter Input is shown

This event occurs when the object is shown. This is often when the object's page is opened.

The settings section includes the data source, fields to report on, filtering, accessibility and positioning of the object.

Autofill

The autofill feature permits compliance with WCAG 2.1

The default value of 'On' will allow the field to auto-populate with frequently used data recorded in the report users browser.

Type

Type

Select the type of data the filter input will accept.

Choose from: Text, Number, Day, Month, Week, Year, Time, Days Ago, Weeks Ago, Months Ago, Years Ago, Minutes Ago, Hours Ago.

Operator

Select the filter operator.

Choose From: Equal, Less, Less or Equal, Greater, Greater or Equal, Not Equal, Range

Data

Data Source

All reporting objects must point to a data source. If you only have defined one then this will be automatically selected.

Field

Select the field from the data source that the filter will be applied to.

Override previous filter

By default, each object that you click on for a drill-down filter remains in effect when subsequent objects are selected. In other words, the drill-downs you select are cumulative. However, you may want a drill-down selection to clear all other existing drill-down filters before performing its own drill-down. In this case, you would check the Override previous box.

Description

Enter text that will be read aloud or converted to Braille for JAWS users.

Top

Displays the object's location in from the top of the app (in pixels).

Left

Displays the object's location in from the left margin of the app (in pixels).

Width

Shows the width of the object.

The width cannot be less than 75px.

Height

Shows the height of the object.

The height cannot be less than 15px.

Layer

Indicates the layer number this object occupies. You can drag an object so that it fully or partially covers another object. Depending on the layer number it occupies, it may be positioned underneath another other object.

The Style section contains properties that control the text, border and background.

Select the font face for the text.

Choose the size of the font for the text.

Manually enter font sizes smaller than the minimum selectable in the drop-down.

Enter a Hex color code or click on the color box to pick a color for the text.

Choose the style of the font for the text.

Select the border type.

None or Solid

Choose the size of the border.

Enter a Hex color code or click on the color box to pick a color for the border

Select a numeric value to represent the curvature of the object's corners. The higher the number, the more curved the the edges of the object will be.

Background

Enter a Hex color code or click on the color box to pick a color for the object background.

Use Report Theme

Resets the appearance options to the default settings configured on the report's Theme properties.

Applying or Resetting a Theme

The Access section contains properties for field state management.
