You can import apps that have been exported to a .PA or .PF file from another account or downloaded from the PerfectApps Web site.
If the app you are importing contains functionality that is dependent on a connection, you must first import the related connection. The connection migration must be complete for the app to be imported without error. The recommended sequence of migration for apps or reports that have connection dependencies is: 1. Connection 2. To import a new PerfectApps app (.PA or .PF): |
1.Ensure that you have the app (.PA or .PF file) saved locally.
2.Log in to PerfectApps.
3.On the Apps Workspace, click Import.
4.Browse to the location of the .PA or .PF file that you saved locally. Click Next.
5.Enter a Name for the app. Click Next.
6.Click Done. The new app is created and added to the Private Apps folder in the tree.
To import over an existing app, load the Apps Workspace and navigate to the app in the tree. Select the More Options button (). Click the Migrate option and choose the Import App Design option. The file will be imported as a new version of the app. |
