The Tab Index is a property of an object that is generated automatically based on the order that objects are placed onto that page.
The tab index can be found in the Settings section of the object's properties.
Each page has its own tab index.
Groups will have a tab index relative to the page they are on but objects inside a group will have their own tab index.
The tab index determines several things:
oIt controls the order in which the focus will move from object to object when the Tab key is pressed.
oIt determines the order that objects will be presented in the system to designers when, for example, selecting a field in behaviors.
oIt determines the order that data is presented when exporting data or designing reports.
