The workflow diagram is used by the app designer to visually lay out the various stages of the process. The workflow diagram is comprised of stages and paths.
The workflow diagram can contain conditions for how the app moves through its lifecycle. You may also set up notification behaviors on the workflow that will notify stakeholders during the process.
The workflow diagram is evaluated by PerfectApps whenever an app is submitted. Assuming you are using a workflow diagram at all, an app instance, when running, is always in the stage it was in when it loaded. It cannot change stages while it is open.
If you trigger the Set Next Stage command to increment the workflow, that will not take effect until the app instance has been submitted. |
