Complete the steps below to create a new user: |
1.On the Settings Dashboard, click New then User.
2.Enter the Name, E-mail and other user information. •If you clear the Active check box in the Personal section of the Personal details, the user license will be unavailable until it is selected again. •The Custom ID field can be used to identify the user in behaviors and special conditions. 3.Choose the Role of the user. •Full User - Full users can access the above AND can also create and edit apps and reports as well as perform system administration tasks. PerfectApps On-Demand and On-Premise accounts are allocated a specific number of basic and full user licenses. If the System Administrator checks the Full Users radio button, a full user license will be used. •Basic User - Basic users can access the PerfectApps Dashboard for accessing notifications, searching for app instances they are involved in and viewing reports. Choosing this option will use a basic license if one is available, or a full license if that is the only license type remaining available for the account. •Limited User - Limited users cannot log in to the PerfectApps application. Limited users can only access PerfectApps from links in system-generated e-mails or from other public links. While it is not possible to log in to the application as a limited user, it is possible to be assigned to user-groups and positions and to receive notifications. This type of user role does not count against the total user count (either basic or full) allowed for your account. 4.Click Apply Changes. 5.Click Send Password-Link. A link will be sent to the new user inviting them to create a new password for their account. Be aware that the link will expire after 24 hours after which time a new link will have to be sent. 6.You can now assign the user to user groups, positions, workflow roles or send them notifications. |
