A very powerful use of the Table object is its ability to visually link the parent app (the app that contains the table) to its child sub-apps.
Go to the Linking Apps and Using Parent-Child Relationships topic for information on how you can use tables to do this. A working knowledge of parent-child apps will allow you to build sophisticated Web applications based on one-to-many relationships between associated apps. Especially when combined with reporting, parent-child apps can be very valuable.
