You may have a particular role that will never need access to a particular field. In this case, you want to assign a field state of Disabled or Read-only for that role across all workflow stages.
Example
You want to limit a user group's access to a field or page, regardless of stage.
1.With an app loaded in the App Designer, select Object Markers - On from the View menu. 2.Select the app object(s) for which you want to manage the state. 3.On the Navigation Panel, select the Role. 4.Select All in the Stage drop-down. 5.In the Properties panel, select the state from the list. This app object will always be displayed in this manner to the selected role. |
