Progress Bar Properties

The Attributes section includes the object name.

Name	Enter a name for the object. This is the name of the object as it will show in field chooser, the Navigation panel and other object lists.

The Behavior section lists possible events on the object that can prompt a behavior to run.

Progress Bar is Clicked

This event occurs when the app user clicks on the progress bar object.

Progress Bar is Shown

This event occurs when the progress bar object is shown.

The settings section includes object settings, position, tabbing and accesibility.

Progress Bar Settings
Object	Details	Additional Information
Automatically Show Page Progress	Select this check box to automatically show page progress in the bar. If this check box is selected, then the associated 'Value' field is not used because the value displayed in the bar will be calculated automatically. Progress will be displayed based on the position of the current page in the whole set of pages of the app. For example, on page one of a five page app, it will show 0%. On page two it will show 20%, and so on. If this check box is not selected, then the app designer can enter a specific value into the 'Value' field that will control the progress shown in the progress bar.
Value	When the 'Automatically Show Page Progress' check box is not selected, then the app designer can manually enter a specific value into this field that will control the progress that is shown in the progress bar object. When the 'Automatically Show Page Progress' check box is selected, then this field is not used.
Show	Select or clear this check box to show or hide the label for the progress bar.
[label format]	Enter the format of the label text. By default, the label format will be %1%. This default means the label will display as a percentage, such as 33% or 100%. When the 'Automatically Show Page Progress' check box in the Progress section is selected, and this default is used, then the label will automatically display the percentage of progress completed, such as 50%. You may choose to enter your own label format here, such as 'Page 1 of 5'. You should ensure though that what you specify here makes sense with the selections made in the Progress section. If you chose to automatically show page progress, but then manually enter a label, that label won't automatically update. It is recommended that if you want to enter something in this field other than %1%, that you clear the 'Automatically Show Page Progress' check box and manually provide a value in the 'Value' field below that. This way the progress bar itself matches with the label format you've manually entered.
Position
Top	Displays the object's location in from the top of the app (in pixels).
Left	Displays the object's location in from the left margin of the app (in pixels).
Width	Shows the width of the object.
Height	Shows the height of the object.	The minimum height is determined by the font size and cannot be less than 15px.
Layer	Indicates the layer number this object occupies. You can drag an object so that it fully or partially covers another object. Depending on the layer number it occupies, it may be positioned underneath another other object.
Tabbing
Tab Index	Indicates the order that objects will be presented in the system to designers when, for example, selecting a field in behaviors.	Tab Index
Tooltip	Enter tooltip text to show to an app user when they hover their mouse over the object.
Accessibility
Description	Enter text that will be read aloud or converted to Braille for JAWS users.	Accessibility and JAWS Compatibility

The Style section contains properties that control the font appearance of the object.

Text
Object	Details	Additional Information
	Select the font face for the caption text.	Fonts from the designers local machine will also be available provided the option to Use Custom Font has been selected in the Account Settings, however if the same font is not installed on the users machine then a standard font will be used to display the data.
	Choose the size and style of the font for the caption text.	Manually enter font sizes smaller than the minimum selectable in the drop-down.
Color	Enter a Hex color code or click on the color box to pick a default color for the caption text.
	Choose the style of the font for the caption text.
Bar
	Enter a Hex color code or click on the color box to pick a color for the bar.
Border
	Enter a Hex color code or click on the color box to pick a color for the border.

The Access section contains properties for field state management.

State
Object	Details	Additional Information
	Choose from Default, Normal, Disabled or Hidden for Progress Bar objects. With field state management, you control access to individual objects on the app. You can prevent individual roles from changing, or even viewing, specific data or areas on the app. See Limiting User Access to App Fields for more information on how to control access to fields. 	Click the ellipses button to display the Edit State dialog. Use this option to hide, show or disable objects depending on the user's role and/or the workflow stage.
