Workflow paths provide the logical sequence the workflow stages will follow.
Conditions can be placed on paths so that the workflow only follows that path if a certain condition or set of conditions is met. Conditions can be field values, calculations or other functions.
Additionally, paths can have notification behaviors assigned to them so that when the path is run, a notification is sent. See Setting Notifications, Reminders, Escalations.
