Layout Mode

The default view when opening a new or existing app. In this mode, you can build your app's layout.

Mobile Layout Mode

The Mobile Design feature optimizes an app for mobile devices.

Behavior Mode

In this mode, you can add intelligent behavior to your app. Behaviors will be linked to events associated with the app, pages, groups or objects within the app.

To open behavior mode you would typically select a specific behavior event. Clicking the behavior icon opens the previously selected behavior event or, if no events have been opened in this session, opens a blank behavior screen.

Workflow Mode

In this mode you can define your workflow logic.

Click the Right Double Arrows to maximize the navigation panel.

Click the Left Double Arrows to minimize the navigation panel.

Use the double line grab handles to drag the navigation panel open to you preferred size.

Click the Help button to launch context-sensitive help for the Navigation Panel.

These buttons will expand or collapse the subsections for the App and Page Behavior details below.

Use the Add or Remove Sections/Objects button to reopen the Mobile App Wizard to work with sections and objects.

View all objects in the app, or only those with a behavior attached, or a group with behavior attached to an object within.

The App Behaviors section lists the behaviors associated with the app.

<Page Name>

The individual page sections lists the objects on that page.

View

Use the drop-down to select whether to view in '1 Column' or '2 Column' mode.

Stage

Select a Stage (and optionally a Role), then click the State button or Mandatory button to view a matrix of app objects for that stage and state combination.

Object Overview:

View State

Click State to load the object states overview. This dialog provides a matrix view of all app objects and their states as the user/roles will see them at the various stages. You can view the object states for any role/stage combination.

With field state management, you control access to individual objects on the app. You can prevent individual roles from changing, or even viewing, specific data or areas on the app.

Object Overview:

View Mandatory

Click Mandatory to load the objects overview. This dialog provides a matrix view of all app input objects and indicates whether an answer is mandatory at each stage. You can view the mandatory inputs for any role/stage combination.
