The Migrate option on the Reports Workspace is found from the More Option button and allows you to import or export the report design.
Exporting a report follows the same procedure as exporting an app but without the option to export any data. See Migrating an App and Exporting App Data
Another user may import the report. If the data source(s) used by the report is also available to the new user, it will be identified when the report is imported and automatically linked. If the data source is not available when imported then a new data source will have to be created.
If the report you are importing has a data source that is dependent on a connection, you must first import the applicable connection. The connection migration must be complete for the app and its report(s) to be imported without error. The recommended sequence of migration for apps or reports that have connection dependencies is: 1. Import the connection 2. Import the source app 3. Publish the source app 4. Import the report (it should display dependencies - OK) 5. Publish the report For more information, see Migrating Connections. |
